4. Distortions and Fraud in IPCC Reports

“Climate modeling is not climate science, it is computerized Tinker-Toys with which one can construct any outcome he chooses” – James Peden, Atmospheric Physicist, worked at the Space Research and Coordination Center in Pittsburgh.

“There is no rational justification for using climate model forecasts to determine public policy” – Dr. John Theon, head of NASA’s Climate Research Program.

“Gore prompted me to start delving into the science again and I quickly found myself solidly in the skeptic camp…Climate models can at best be useful for explaining climate changes after the fact” – Meteorologist Hajo Smit of Holland, who reversed his belief in man-made warming to become a skeptic, is a former member of the Dutch UN IPCC committee.

lt’s the Sun, Not Your SUVJohn Zyrkowski, president of Lean Techniques, LLC wrote the book lt’s the Sun, Not Your SUV – CO2 Won’t Destroy the Earth, where he states that IPCC reports are hopelessly distorted.

“The models and forecasts of the UN IPCC are incorrect because they are based only on mathematical models and presented results at scenarios that do not include, for example, solar activity” – Victor M. Velasco Herrera, a Victor M. Velasco Herreraresearcher at the Institute of Geophysics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

“It is not possible to stop climate change… The IPCC has issued increasingly alarming conclusions about the climatic influences of human-produced carbon dioxide (CO2), a non-polluting gas that is essential to plant photosynthesis…the IPCC’s conclusions are quite inadequate as justification for implementing policies that will markedly diminish future prosperity. Attempts to prevent global climate change from occurring are ultimately futile, and constitute a tragic misallocation of resources that would be better spent on humanity’s real and pressing problems” – Open letter by 100 scientists to the UN Secretary General (Dec. 14, 2007).

Kelvin Kemm“So, will the Copenhagen climate conference continue to suppress the scientific truth, and will Copenhagen try to put the brakes on African economic development?” – Kelvin Kemm, nuclear physicist and chief executive of Stratek Business Strategy Consultants.

“The quantity of CO2 we produce is insignificant in terms of the natural circulation between air, water and soil… I am doing a detailed assessment of the UN IPCC reports and the Summaries for Policy Makers, identifying the way in which the Summaries have distorted the science” – South African Nuclear Physicist and Chemical Engineer Dr. Philip Lloyd, a UN IPCC co-coordinating lead author who has authored over 150 refereed publications.

“The Kyoto theorists have put the cart before the horse. It is global warming that triggers higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, not the other way round…A large number of critical documents submitted at the 1995 UN conference in Madrid vanished without a trace. As a result, the discussion was one-sided and heavily biased, and the UN declared global warming to be a scientific fact” – Prof. Andrei Kapitsa, a Russian geographer and Antarctic ice core researcher who pioneered the discovery of the sub-glacial Vostok Lake.

“The IPCC has actually become a closed circuit; it doesn’t listen to others. It doesn’t have open minds… I am really amazed that the Nobel Peace Prize has been given for scientifically incorrect conclusions by people who are not geologists” – Indian geologist Dr. Arun D. Ahluwalia at Punjab University and a board member of the UN-supported International Year of the Planet.

Claude Allègre“The greenhouse-gas fanatics whose proclamations consist in denouncing man’s role on the climate without doing anything about it except organizing conferences and preparing protocols that become dead letters” – Prof. Claude Allègre, French scientist, geologist and former Minister of Education, Research and Technology.

“The real world is muddy and messy and full of things that we do not yet understand. It is much easier for a scientist to sit in an air-conditioned building and run computer models, than to put on winter clothes and measure what is really happening outside in the swamps and the clouds. That is why the climate model experts end up believing their Freeman John Dysonown models” – Freeman John Dyson, of the US National Academy of Sciences and professor emeritus of physics at Princeton.

“At this rate, Copenhagen is going to turn into a comedy convention with the real world laughing at these liars. Now is the time to mount a massive resistance to the petty tyrants and hit them where it hurts – in the wallet. Further down the line there may be, in many countries, a question of criminal prosecution of anybody who has falsified data to secure funds and impose potentially disastrous fiscal restraints on the world in deference to a massive hoax. It’s a new world out there, Al, and, as you may have noticed, the climate is very cold indeed”— Gerald Warner, columnist (The Telegraph, Nov. 26, 2009).

5. A Media Campaign Based on a Farce or a Fraud

Kiminori Itoh“Warming fears are the worst scientific scandal in history…When people come to know what the truth is, they will feel deceived by science and scientists” – UN IPCC Japanese Scientist Dr. Kiminori Itoh, award-winning PhD environmental physical chemist.

“I’ve told you a hundred times, global warming is a hoax! … “This scare will also run its course. In 15-20 years, we’ll look back and see what a hoax this was” – William Gray, meteorologist and pioneer in hurricane forecasting (Ken Kayes Storm Center, 02-04-09).

“Global warming is indeed a scam, perpetrated by scientists with vested interests and sorely in need of crash courses in geology, logic and the philosophy of science” – Dr. Martin Keeley, Visiting Professor in Petroleum Geology, University College London, BBC, 2004-12-06.[1]

“We think we live in an age of reason, and the alarm over global warming seems to be science; but it is not science: it is propaganda” – Prof. Paul Reiter, Pasteur Institute, Paris.

Eduardo Tonni“The [global warming] scaremongering has its justification in the fact that it is something that generates funds. Unfortunately, it is another product for the market” – Award-winning Paleontologist Dr. Eduardo Tonni, of the Committee for Scientific Research in Buenos Aires and head of the Paleontology Department at the University of La Plata, Argentina.

“It seems that the science fakers at “climaterealityproject” got caught with their proverbial hands in the cookie jar” –Lord Monckton of Brenchley.

Lord Monckton of Brenchley

“Since I am no longer affiliated with any organization nor receiving any [research] funding, I can speak quite frankly….As a scientist I remain skeptical…The main basis of the claim that man’s release of greenhouse gases is the cause of the warming is based almost entirely upon climate models. We all know the frailty of models…” – Dr. Joanne Simpson, meteorological scientist.
