On August 7, 2019, one of the largest Brazilian newspapers, O Estado de São Paulo, published this news: “Yaci is representing the Indians of Brazil at the Pan American Games in Lima.” [1] The article goes on to say that, for the first time in its history, Brazil will have an indigenous athlete in archery.
